Beautiful On A Budget #1 Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer

Hey Dolls,
This is the first post for my "Beautiful On A Budget" series! Are you as excited as I am?? :) So for this B.O.A.B I am going to be featuring one very amazing concealer. Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer!

This is an amazing product and it has an amazing price tag. It is under $10.00!

I am in the color 312 Light.

There are so many good things that I can say about this product. First off, the coverage of this product is great. It is hard for me to find a good concealer that covers and works with my budget. I have really dark circles under my eyes and I have tried so many different things and none of them have really worked. I purchased this at Walmart a little while ago and I was shocked that it was so inexpensive but worked so well. I usually have to touch up my concealer throughout the day, but not with this bad boy. The texture is creamy and thick, but I find that it does not crease. It is an all around great product.

Pros About This Product:
-Does Not Crease
-Great Price
-Full Coverage
-Comes with a mini concealer pencil that works well too
-Good Amount Of Product
-Easy To Use Packaging
-Layers well under other products

I really could not think of any Cons for this product.

In my opinion this covers like a high end product. I am glad that I tried it out. I guess it just goes to show that sometimes we do not have to spend a lot of money on something in order to find  products that works well for us.

They really are not lying when they said that this was a "Heavy Duty Concealer."

Well ladies, thank you all for stopping by to read my first B.O.A.B post. I hope you are all doing great. Talk to you soon! xo

Jewelry: My Favorite Necklaces

Hello My Beauties,
How are you all doing? I wanted to share with you some of my favorite necklaces. I love jewelry. I think that it adds interest and glam to any outfit. I tend to wear pretty plain tops, so I love wearing interesting necklaces to add to my outfits. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.

I bought this beauty at Payless. I love their jewelry. Not only are their pieces good quality, but you can also get them on sale for amazing prices!!

This hot little item I purchased from Walmart, and it was under $20.00!!!!

Again, I got this from Payless. . It goes with anything. Add this to a simple cami, curl your hair, nice makeup, and a great pair of shoes...you're ready for anything!

This piece is so pretty, the picture does not do it justice. I got this one from Payless. Like I said, they have amazing jewelry and you can find really nice items on sale. This was one of their marked down items, but I cannot remember how much I payed for it. I do remember that it was under $20.00.

Simple but glam. I got this beauty from Payless.

This necklace is huge. It is a lot bigger in person. This necklace was given to me so I am not sure where it is from, but it is a beauty. It goes with anything. It may look some what casual but you can dress it up easily.

This is so shiney. It has different colors so you can wear it with pretty much whatever you want. This was given to me so I am not sure where it was purchased.

I love chain jewelry. This was purchased at Lawtons believe it or not!

This was bought at Payless.

I hope you all enjoyed my post. Jewelry is one of my favorite things. I really do believe that it can make or break an outfit. My next post will be about some of my favorite earrings. What are some of your favorite jewelry pieces that you own?

Should I SAVE or Should I SPEND??

When I first starting getting into makeup I was so overwhelmed. There are so many brands and so many choices that I did not know what cosmetics I should choose. Long story short, I ended up with a few $20.00 eyeshadows, $30.00 lipsticks, and a few $50.00 blushes. Looking back now I know that it was all unnecessary, and I really could not afford it. I felt as thought if I did not spend this much money on these products then my makeup would not look nice. I wanted to feel glamorous and put together, and I thought that this was the only way to achieve that. Throughout my makeup journey I have realized something very important that I wish I had someone to tell me a long time ago before I spend more money than what I had on makeup and that is, you do not have to spend thousands of dollars on makeup in order for it to look good. The secret is out ;)Yes, some cheaper products are not worth the money, but there are some really great products out there that are very reasonable in price and are an amazing product, and they work really well.
           Today's post is going to be about should you spend a lot of money on certain products or can you get away with using something that is more reasonable in price. This is only my opinion but I hope that you find this helpful the next time you are at a drugstore buying makeup or at a high end makeup counter and someone tries to sell you a $20.00 eyebrow pencil and you know that it is just not in your budget. High end products are great, amazing actually, but there are less expensive products out there that are amazing as well. Not all of us can afford the high end stuff, myself included.

SAVE

* Eyebrow pencils/Brow powders
* Eyeshadow
*Mascara
*Eyeliner
* Lip liner
*Lipstick
*Blush
*Bronzer
*Highlighter

SPEND

*Face primer
* Eye primer
*Foundation
*Concealer
*Powder
(I spend more money on these things because I consider them to be a great base to apply the rest of your makeup. Again this is only my opinion but this has worked well for me over the years.)

REVIEW: COVERGIRL "READY,SET,GORGEOUS" FOUNDATION, NUMBER 105

Hello Beauties,
I am going to be reviewing the Covergirl “Ready,Set,Gorgeous” foundation for you, in the number 105. I was really excited to try this product when I first heard about it, but I was not impressed after I tried it. I thought that this foundation was going to offer more coverage than what it did. To be honest, after I put this on it did not even look like I had anything on. I tried to build up the coverage by adding another lay and it did not help. Going by what the title of the product says, I thought that this was going to cover a lot more than what it did.
My mother and I wear pretty much the same color foundation, so I gave it to her because I know that she does not like a heavy/full coverage foundation. She tried it and loved it, and it looked great on her. I would not recommend this foundation to someone who likes a full coverage product, but for those of you whole like a light coverage foundation this would be perfect for you. I think that this would make a great starter foundation for someone who is new to applying makeup.

Pros About This Product:
  • Very cute packaging.
  • Would make a great starter foundation for someone who is new to makeup.
  • Would be great to use if you just wanted a light coverage for around the house, going to the beach,etc.
  • Great price ( I cannot remember exactly what I payed for this but I know it was under $10.00)
  • Does not cake or crease.
  • Lightweight
  • I love the bottle that the foundation comes in. It makes it very easy to get the product out. To be honest, I wish more foundations came in this sort of bottle.
  • Blends well

Cons About This Product:
  • Does not build coverage well
  • Is not a full coverage product
  • Somewhat of a thin consistency
Well girls,
I hope that you all found this helpful. Have any of you tried the powder that goes to this set? If you have please leave your comments below. I hope that you all enjoy the rest of your day/night! xo

PS: I just wanted to let all of you girls know that I do not believe in giving bad reviews to products, unless I really have to. I will give you my honest opinion if I like a product, but if I think that someone else who may have different preferences than me could and would benefit from this product then I will always list those benefits in the “Pros About This Product” part of my review. If I genuinely do not like a product and think that all in all it is not a good product at all then I will make sure to all let you know. I just think that we can all benefit more from a review when we weigh out the good and the bad about the product.

I also wanted to let you all know that I also tried the concealer to this set and I will be doing a review on it very soon :) Take care girls
